Meredith Cabe, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

ABOUT MEREDITH

Meredith obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from Northwestern University, but knew there was more in the world of orthopedic therapy to understand. After completing her doctorate, Meredith continued to advance her clinical skills with a Residency in Orthopedics, immediately followed by a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Fellowship training is the highest level of clinical education, and Meredith loved the opportunity to learn and grow under amazing mentors in the field.

Now, Meredith has 10 years of orthopedic physical therapy experience, and loves the puzzles that come with creating an individualized treatment plan for each new client! She also holds many certifications and specializations, including: dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and SportsMetrics ACL Injury Risk Reduction.

In addition to these specializations, Meredith has a passion for treating both runners and new mothers returning to physical activity. As a mom of three young children, she understands the difficulties that can come with being active with little ones at home. She also regularly trains for races - from 10Ks to marathons - and enjoys the challenge of keeping runners healthy and injury free throughout training programs.

When she is not treating patients, Meredith loves spending time with her husband, children and family in the area. She is born and raised in the Overland Park area, and loves to cheer on the Chiefs, KU Jayhawks, Sporting KC and KC Current. She can often be found running, cheering on her triathlete husband, or at her favorite local gym.
