Kelly Hennes, Physical Therapist
ABOUT KELLY
Kelly earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 2002. Prior to this, she was a basketball player at Pittsburg State University where she learned first-hand the importance of therapy and rehab after undergoing ACL surgery and low back surgery. This only strengthened her desire to become a physical therapist herself and dedicate her life to serving others as a movement specialist. She now has over 20 years experience with patients and clients and has treated a wide variety of conditions and injuries. She loves to study movement and listens intently to what her patients are saying and what their body is trying to tell them.
Kelly added a Master’s Certification in Manual Therapy in 2008 and has continued to hone her manual skills. She also has a dry needling certification to further enhance her treatment skills. She is certified in Applied Functional Science which allows her to assess movement systems and determine impairments. She is always looking to add new skills and new knowledge to help her grow as a therapist. Currently she is studying the intricacies of women's bodies as they age and how physical therapy can help women navigate menopause and perimenopause. Her passion for helping people has never waned and she is ready to take on any challenges that come her way.
When she is not working with patients, she is enjoying time with her family and loves to watch her girls live out their passions. She stays active herself with running, hiking, lifting weights and cycling.
